Fortune Cookies

So this all started during the Coach Ball's fourth period P.E class after we had just ran the mile. In this class most of my peers including myself are very lazy so you can imagine how unprepared we were. I had tis brilliant plan before the day had even come about how I was going to go about this very plan( the plan failed by the way). Shay had to decided to join in on this plan and toward the end I left her behind( I'm sorry). We were prepared however for what we were going to do after we ran the mile which was something that I am not a liberty to specify at this moment... anyway I wanted to be able to let her know that she had to just keep running or some other form of motivation like that. Ever since then I have been texting her random things to motivate anything that she might be doing or facing at the moment like the wind for example. Today I sent one about plans and how you should make to many because we both have been. In response she suggested the idea of making my own fortune cookies hence the tittle of this ongoing blog that I am beginning to notice has no purpose. I guess I am done now with my little rant of thoughts that was just brought to the forefront of my brain, but now the are retreating back into that little closet so for now good bye and I sincerely hope that everyone as a great New Year's Eve.

Myspace Bulletins

They are used to post random little things that can be seen in your head and sometimes they are used to express things that are seen through your eyes or heard through your ears. These things can lead you to a place of bad grammar and run on sentences like mine do most of the time, but between the gibberish there are a few good points like the one I just posted a few minutes ago because the my boredom and thought was consuming me and this the only thing I could think of doing to prolong my trip to the kitchen where I would have the honor of putting up a big load of dishes.
Note: I am sorry for the bad grammar, "I" and lame smiles. This is not at all a representation on how people should write in informal situations. I am not currently trying to change my ways on this public website. My good writing skills are only shown in class and on these blog uncapitalized s. Once again I do apologize for this shameful post below.

As you can see bulletins have both a good and bad side to them. The good side is that you get to show people just how weird you are and the bad side is that those innocent people that are just as strange have to see it.

Snakes vs. Rats

Some of you might remember this from an old season of Survivor where one of the players simply divided the games between the snakes and the rats. In the end the nice mice normally when and not the ugly rats of the brute snakes. This season there have been two mice and many rats. There has never been a case that I can remember where a rat one. The skill is having strategy without being super cut throat because in the end the people you probably had a hand in getting out are going to voting for you to receive the 1 million dollars in the end. Being mean might get you ahead in the game a little but it never gets you to the end happily if at all. Survivor really is a great show and it is one of those shows that get better every year unlike those other shows that grow old and eventually die in the eyes of their viewers. I don't even mind how they type cast the show in a way so there will be drama but over the top drama. Even though the "cookie" incident can be seen as over the top there is no way that it was the producers that were behind it. I must applaud Bob for making two legit looking hidden immunity ideals that two people fell for. It was beautiful. If I could eat fish(their main food source) I would on that show doing as much as I could to become the nice mouse that goes home with the taxed check of a little less than 1 million dollars.

If you watch this show: were you happy that whoever won won(sorry that was terrible grammar)?

BBCA Documentaries

I am in love with these because they always do them on very interesting topics that give you a view of other peoples lives that you hear about but never get too see. As I am typing this now I am watching one that is called "My Big Breast and Me." Obviously you might have and idea on what this is about, but it has shown me that most women with extremely large breast usually don't like them. With reasons of course like the problem of finding the bra(i learned that straps do not give you all of the support; it is the back part being even with the front that does), back problems, self image, and other things that effect the attractiveness of their forever noticeable chest. Another one was about loosing your virginity in the earlier decades for most the teenagers in those days it was a taboo badge of honor for most. Besides that one my favorite focused on cannibals(marijuana) cafes in Holland. The person in the documentary smoked marijuana for a certain length of time to see the effects. It was interesting to see the comparison of someone doing something while high and that same person doing it when they are not. There is a very noticeable difference. I also learned that more people smoke marijuana in the United States than they do in Holland which makes sense because people are always wanting what they cannot have.
Whenever you have nothing to do you should check out BBCA and watch some of there documentaries.

Personals & Code Words

Personals it what we call those life savors that we hide in our purses. You might know what I am talking about if you are a girl and that is good enough because that is who I am directing this at. I hate seeing commercials about T.O.M(Katrina's word) as a roller coaster ride and I really would rather not see the absorbency or flexibility of my stuff. And then asking to go and take car of things is embarrassing too. The decided term for Mr. Thompson's class is "we are going bananas." I personally like using the space analogy or the dessert one which unfortunately freaks out my little dinosaur(Christine), but I made that one up in the sixth grade with my friends in a lunch line of all places. This was just a random blog thank you for reading my rambles if you really did.

Trend Center

While shopping during Black Friday you see many people wearing  many things. Sometimes you see quite a few people wearing some of the same things which is when you can deem it as a trend.

Accessories:
Those little hats that people can get away with wearing at school
Colorful and bright neck wraps

Shoes:
Flat swede boots with tassels
Moccasin flats

Things that I hope never become popular...drop crotch pants.

Vendredi Noir

This was the first year that I have shopped during Black Friday. Surprisingly it wasn't that busy when we first got there. By the way we went shopping in San Francisco and the first place we went was the wonderful H&M. The cashier did say that it was busy around 12 which is crazy because their sale ended at 10am so their wasn't a huge need to go that early. I was to see that the good clothes were still on the racks and not on the floor like half of the sale items at Urban Outfitters. We left the house around 7:30am and we got home around 4pm. We did a lot of excising and had lunch at our normal spot Lousis' Dinner on Market street. It was really just another in San Francisco really the difference was that we went to a pillow shop. It was a fun day with my family and gave a chance to see that quite a few temporally have forgotten about a certain financial crises that is going on. I am grateful that my parents let us go and I am proud of myself for barely going over my budget. I hope everyone has a great day doing whatever they are planing to do.

Happy Thanksgiving

Today I did my community service as a Turkey Trot volunteer where we woke up early, unloaded boxes, stood around letting out toes freeze, pointed out way to short shorts, and then made all of those sweaty runners nice tee-shirts to commemorate what the had just accomplished. This was the second year that I have participated at on of these events last year and it was fun. I enjoy reading every one's shirt to see what other running events they have done. It is quite interesting and this year they improved the goodie bags so that was good too. Overall it has been a good morning and in a few hours will be heading over to Evette's house to have dinner there. So I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and I hope the food you eat is good.

Disappointment

So I wont be making a blog titled "Make a Wish" tonight but someday I will at 11:11 pm and hopefully the next day you will see wait till that time and make a wish to. I should make better goals.

Such a Sweetie

Goals:

1) Finish three blogs tonight naming one of them "Make a Wish"
2) Figure out whether or not to dress out in PE
3) Make better goals
4) Get a job next year
5) Make goodies for more people this Wednesday
6) Go to Lucky's for my supplies
7) Don't burn myself tomorrow
8) Find my jean leggings to wear with my dress
9) Do some Revision of my life. Tone did it and it seems to be helping so I should try it too(for those that watch Skins I am partially serious.)
10) Stop slacking off for the rest of the year(lie)
11) Find the button for special characters on my Dell

I really am trying to reach for the stars....

Delirious

Even though I feel this way too I"m not talking about myself. Delirious is the title of a movie about a homeless guy named Toby who befriended this lonely and kind off crazy paparazzi guy. You must go and see the movie because it is a true representation of most friendships. Especially for all of those seniors graduating this year. Because friends are friends, but you cannot always take them to the same places that you are venturing off to. It goes both ways so even if you are more than willing to follow that friend might not want you to. Basically I am telling you to see this movie and to listen the new album my the Killers because I am listening to it right now and I am really start to dig it ^o- because Candy talks to strangers.
(I apologize for the smiley, but it seemed somewhat appropriate because head bob to the music...darn those lovely emotions of mine. Those darn MORPHIDITEs!)

The Excitement is Growing

Okay so not really, but I am happy to add something to my plate since I have a very scarce amount to do already but now I have the opportunity to plan this years Moonlight Masquerade/ winter ball. It is going back in the gym this time and Jasmine had the great idea of changing the layout so it wont be like the last ones. Overall I am just happy to be doing something with my time and this is a fun thing to do too. I really do hope that people gain some spirit and wear their masks I know that I will be wearing mine. The gym will decorated as a dance should be and the atmosphere of the dance will be different from all of the other ones that we have had prior. Also to make it better Jasmine and I will be accepting request for the Dj's play list so know one can complain about the music because if you had simply spoke up you could have been listening to what you wanted to listen to. So clear you calenders for January the 17th. Be there or be square little grizzles. Just kidding I'm not that  crazy nor old enough to call you little so I take it all back ^o^.

Cotton Candy

I went to a Raiders game today and I really don't even care about any type of sports, but I love the atmosphere of the games. I love listening to everyone's conversations around me because some people have a lot of interesting things to say. Like this one guy that was "f@#%ed up" off of weed that someone sneaked and was passed around in the smoking section which means that they were "hot boxing(smoking weed in a completely sealed off room)." Now if you add that with drinking I sure that you would believe in the comment he made. Also throughout the game these three guys behind me kept swearing in Spanish. Things like this strangely put a smile on my face even though it is not the first time but in some situations it just makes me laugh. It is really beautiful when people are as open with their emotions as they are.
I learned that me and my dad are alike in the way we sit and now I know that I can feed upon his emotions because I was able to throw myself in the Raider Nation spirit and start yelling at those players. I wish that team was better because my dad's cousin or my second is on that team and if I was closer to him I would comfortable enough to tell him somewhat jokingly to get his team together.
Okay I have completely lost myself in what I think I was trying to say so I am going to cut myself by saying two things: I wish we sat closer to the Black Hole and cotton candy taste better when you eat it in a stadium.

Angela Chase...

... makes a good pint when she said "everyone is an act." I mean there is a lot of truth behind that in the sense that people really do put on acts for themselves and the only time they stop is when we start to zone out. It is as close as someone can get to an out of body experience without the aid of mind altering drugs. I do this when I pick out my outfits or when I am trying to smile for something that I have no interest in. I don't think people do it for others rather than for themselves. The perfect example of this is the Movie Hero. It is a good movie at heart even though it requires you to find a way to keep you attention, but it is about how everyone has an audience. There is one part where this girl is confidently strutting down the street and this antagonist character steals her audience which in turn makes her curl up as if she was completely naked. I just think that is a good example of how everyone really feels. There are moments where people start getting to tried to care and kind of just stop hence the zoning. If you think about our lives are just movies for only our minds to see. I don't even want to get into the trippy nature of our minds I mean seeing pictures of memories and hearing our own voices without opening our mouths. I cannot even begin to grasp the possibilities and explanations of our psychological beings.
And on that note here is the tailer of the "Movie Hero."

The Life of a Heavy Breather

Pet peeves are the causes for everyones unhappiness on a daily basis. If everything in you day goes right that is the one thing that can bring you down. I usually do not have a violent streak but when someone behind me is breathing like they either committed a crime, raped a goat, or ran ten miles and is breathing so deeply that the sound begins to resonate in my ear makes me want to turn around and slap that person up side the head. That really is the one that crawls, slips and leaves a trail of slime under my skin. It is that and the crackly popping of gum. I mean some people are just asking me to pull a Chicago on you. I mean "you had it coming..." right? Seriously though, those people cannot actually believe that your ways of self amusement don't effect the wound up people around you. Even the relax as goo people would still find those tendencies obnoxious. Like I said violence is not my thing. Neither is verbal abuse, but their is moment in everyday where you feel differently toward your surrounding and start to throw books off the shelves of you mind. Some people show it more than others which make for the perfectly awkward situation. I truly think it is the quiet ones that you should watch out for the most. Because if you are angering me you might be able to see the daggers about to be thrown at you through my eyes. Luckily though I keep those at home so you wont have anything to worry about unless you start trying to talk down to me. I am a tolerable person who attempts to avoid conflict if you are really trying to start something then I will confront you. If you are just being annoying I will brush it off and possible confront others. The second isn't a good trait but it is an honest one. Which is again something I try to be.

Pass By Me

Halloween does not sound like it will end up being that great holiday that I once looked forward too every October. This year it seems like people are only  dressing up so they do not have to participate in any of Coach Ball's activities or they are just denouncing all responsibility of keeping the Halloween spirit alive. I can not put the blame on everyone because now a days it seems like Halloween is just an excuse for people to dress like a prostitute. Which is all fine for them but it is not what it is supposed to be about in my eyes. I believe that All Hallows Night or Eve should be about being with you friends and exercising so you can fill up on the candy that you have just received from strangers. It is also a great reason for me to try out more recipes and to not pay attention in class(no offense). I want Halloween to be how it used to be. Where is the spirit in anything these day?

B.E.N.C.H.M.A.R.K

I made this up when I was thinking how disappointed i was about my chemistry  results and while studying for my benchmark in world history today.

Blogs

Blogs force you to be committed to them even though we should be treating this as homework it is no longer keeping my attention. I have been stating to slack off until I have a few hours left until the deadline. I have all of these ideas of what to use but instead I what I would usually do and just decide to keep them as thoughts. Which isn't a good thing when your thought can potentially effect you grade. I suppose that I should just keep doing these weird ones. This moment is a reputation of these filling because right now I am trying to make this long enough to use a scroll bar, but this is proving to be very hard when you are just rambling. Angela Chase dose that well though. She can go on and on about the string that is innocently hanging from Jordan's plaid shirt. I think I am just going to go and brush my teeth and hair and do all of those other things that people usually do... sorry, I just wrote something that I heard and now my brain is telling me to go to sleep and I think that I am going to listen to it right now.

Bon Soir(goodnight)
I got a scroll bar.

Trashy T.V

Trashy equals faux reality t.v; it really is ridiculous how these weird and random shows seem to not be able to get cancelled even though they really need to be. An example of this is the whole t.v show lineup for Vh1. The amount of reality shows they have is absolutely ludicrous. The shows like the Rock of Love Charm School, Real Chance of Love, and The Pick Up Artist make me question America's taste in entertainment. I mean who really wants to see a person purposely make of fool of themselves. To really make it entertaining all of their embarrassing actions must be unintentional and then it can be considered funny.

Oops!

It is very funny to see an accidental chain of events. I am talking about Friday at lunch in Mr. Thompson's room. The thing that was most laughable was the fact that it all started with a salad. Okay so Miss Bonaparte stacking the salad bowls to be thrown away the mistake ways putting it on the same table that Nico was sitting on. When Nico jumped down off the desk and knocked the bowls into Matthew's lap. His expression jumped onto his face and it was extremely funny. It was a "my laugh cannot come out even though my jaw is wide open" kind of laugh too. All in all it was very funny. Then after Matt got the stuff into the garbage he shook the trash which  caused the clam chowder to splash onto Mr. Thompson's floor another hilarious moment. We almost didn't have enough tissues to clean up the mess either. It was just an extremely funny day

Random Giggles

I try to laugh everyday because people tell me that it is good for you. Sometimes I laugh when nothing around me is funny and if this occurs in my awesome sixth period class then I will always and forever call it a "random giggle." That class really is my happy class. My mood today was not all that great, but I was able to put on a forced smile at lunch, but my simile as far from simulated in so many ways. First of all I must list my "partners in crime" this giggly bunch includes that European girl named Katrina,  Christine is my partner in three of my classes because we both love or auras because they go together so well, and Matthew Freeman is subjected to Christine's abuse all the time. That nosebleed was all because of her because you might be confused by her English to German and then back to English translations, but she has a mean fist even Colten who is not even in that class knows her other dark secrets. The sounds that people make are so funny sometime especially when it is not in a random setting where you least expect it. Katrina's relationship with that tuner is very interesting to watch and hear. I also must comment on Mr. Freeman's creepy, cuddly, and crude french personality. You are also very tan which is nice for you and natural; keep doing that water polo okay and you might want to bring a face guard to class for now on.
The laughs that I have in this class are very stress relieving simply because when you laugh you are taking a much needed hiatus of the everything prior to that moment of complete and utter bliss.
Do not fret Mr. Thompson I do pay attention to you when you are talking, but I cannot resist myself during those moments in between.

Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island

How can you not love this movie and all of the old Scooby-Doo films. This series is one of the most loved things of our generation. Although, when I first saw this in the second grade it seemed more like a modern day horror film to me then. Shame on my mom for showing my sister and I that early. The one about the aliens wasn't that bad either. All the classics were good, but now they have been destroyed of all their worth because they had to make those new ones with their sharp and fancy colors. Why most people destroy the classic look of cartoons. I miss the was the background used to look like it was painted in water colors until one of the characters touched which made it magically turn animated. I must admit that the first human performance of Scooby-Doo was not that bad I never did favor Scrappy he was a weird and unneeded character. However, he did prove entertaining in the Halloween Special where they were at that monster school for young girls. I hope that comes on some time this year. Thirteen night of Halloween will be coming on soon too on ABC Family. All of you holiday fanatics should watch it and hopefully they will show Hocus Pocus again this year that is one of my favorite Halloween appropriate movies. I love the Halloween just for the movies they show it is the same for Christmas too. I really do like ABC Family and this is a thank you to all of those people that keep showing the same movies every year.

Rethinking things

My pep has been completely zapped in the four hours of me doing absolutely nothing. Boredom really is a poison I think it really is a dangerous thing. I leads you to watch terrible movies like the one I am watching now. It also leaves you to think, which can end positively or negatively. My thoughts actually lead me to think of a really cute outfit for tomorrow and pushed me to look for some new up do ideas for my hair. This helped me a bit because just in case you didn't know, I am easily pleased. That little something may not completely change my attitude, but it does help to have that little boost. Wow that actually sounds very terrible to me because to me it seemed as if I was one of those people who are addicted to Valium or some other kind of "make me happy" pill. Very interesting although I sincerely hope that I never become overly reliable on anything not even people.

Homecoming Week...

... is finally over. Which makes me both happy and sad. This makes me happy because I no longer feel like I have to be in contact with those that I am not usually in contact with, but on the other hand I wont have as many chances to talk to some of the people that don't usually talk too. Leadership class really is a great way to meet new people and see all sides to them. Even I start to become something like a chameleon depending on what situation I am in. For everyone that went to the dance I hope you had fun because it would be a shame if you didn't. And if you want to have fun next you should come find me and I will lend you some of my perkiness. Oh and how can I forget to mention how good our volleyball and football teams. Homecoming seems like it should be the big game next to the Bell game I suppose. I don't really know anything about football, but I do know how to translate another person's reaction as a sign that we did good. Anyway, I just wanted to show that I am in a really good mood and not even the bad grade I got on my Chemistry test was able to get me down it might have been because I was expecting it, but oh well. I'll just make sure that I actually study next time.

Reasons to do Things

There are many reasons for people to do things. I do things without thinking, because I can and want to, out of spite, or sometimes I do things because people say "please." What I dislike is when my arm is twisted or my feelings manipulated into doing something I wouldn't usually do. Oedipus, Creon, and Antigone all had these problems which gives them an even greater human persona. Instead of just showing their divine and righteous way of life.

Rush in Rio

I wish I was at this concert I am currently watching on VH1 Classics because it seems that if I were only there I could feed of the excitement and other feeling of the crowed and become completely and utterly consumed in every feeling swirly around me. I especially love the expressions of every single one of band members including the drummer. The expression was one of pure ecstasy and joy like the most climatic moment in any sensual experience. If that was fake then bravo! If it was exactly how it appeared then i could truly say congratulations for finding something in life that can make you feel that way. The fact that the could make other people feel same should make them even happier. I know that you are not supposed to covet what another person has, but when I kept seeing that I wanted that feeling. Now all I need to do is find away to achieve that. I doubt it will happen this year, but when it does I will post a blog about it.

"You don't say that out loud."

That was a beautiful quote coming from one of our presidential nominees, Jon McCain. The debate seemed unheated and there was a lot of "that is not what I said." There was also a lot of agreement. I did not noticed to much back and forth which is what a debate should be, well that is what my idea of a debate is.
I agree that you can learn from the past, but the past is the past so it should stay that way especially when it is irrelevant to the current situation. It seems that John McCain has forgot about that and the fact that name dropping (should) mean nothing.
The part about the bracelets was interesting though. Barack Obama had a good comeback to that one and didn't McCain talk about receiving a bracelet at the Republican convention.
Overall I was not completely consumed by this debate except for the fact that the host/ mediator kept getting cut off by the two of them. If that was that I was paying attention to then that says a  very sad thing about my character.
I would also like to know if we have nuclear weapons because I am pretty sure we do, but we still think that no one else can have them without trying to use them. That is very interesting if it is true, but I do understand that some countries are making them to use them.
And I must apologize to Mr. Thompson for posting such a disorganized blog.

You Oedipus

All of the hackneyed phrases used in our culture really goes over my head. A lot of the sayings do not make any sense. Like "close, but no cigar." What were those people doing when they made that up? Some titles that are derived from derogatory meanings are wrong too. Like peon and brown nosesr. If you were to sit for a while and think about what those could mean your mind might wonder into a very pessimistic place. Well I just wanted to post a blog about this because it was on my mind, because that is what blogs are for right..?

Ismene says...

Ismene is the perfect example of a little sister. She is not completely free thinking and tends to follow what her sister Antigone does. So when Antigone comes up with the idea to give their brother Polynieces some sort of burial Ismene was quick to say, "But, Antigone, if things have gone that far what can I do? How could I possibly help?" Ismene was willing to believe in whatever the majority of people was telling her and because she was willing to believe them she limited herself when it came to what she thought she could do.

One Awesome Commercial

I that this was just the cutest thing ever when I this. And I must say that this is one of the best commercials ever. When I see commercials I normally laugh, then complain about how long they are, but as soon as I saw this I loved it. No one ever wants to be the odd one out all the time so it is great when you can let loose and go crazy with your friends. People feel like they can do anything when they are with a few of their good friends. At least I think I can, because I feel like I can jump up and dance a jig with my friends too. Anyway I just wanted post this to remind everyone why you should appreciate every friend you have ever had. This commercial completely brightened up my day.

When to Say I love You

" I love you" can be considered a hackneyed phrase, but never the less people are keen in using it. There is no limit to how many times you can say "I love you," unless you are purely saying it just to say it. If you do love someone then shout it out. Say it every single second of the day in the same that the farm boy said it to Princess Buttercup(if you have seen the Princess Bride you would understand that). Change your voice if you are trying to show your passion behind you words and if they love you too then your loved one will understand completely. A person does not even need to physically need to use those words. A simple hand of the small of her back( I adore using that phrase) or even a speacial glance shared between you and your loved one. Anything and everything is fine because love does not lose its value when you do not say it enough or if you say it to much. Love loses its value when there was no meaning to it in the first place.
That was for you Mr. Miclette. And I hope by reading this people do not begin to think that I am a hopeless romantic because I really am not. Although, I am not pessimistic on the subject I not completely head over heels(even though you head is always over you heels) for it either.

Passion: One Way to Ruin your Eyeshadow

You can always tell when someone is passionate about something by the  way their tone of there voice changes and the stern, but emotional look in their eyes. Feeling that passion course through you body in a surge of complete second along with a pure understanding of what you are trying to say. Passion has thought behind it and if you really believe in what you are saying you will not grow weary with fear. Which can be countered because like Aristotle we are not all martyrs to our own beliefs. I love that feeling though, even if it does makes me shaky with all the things I am trying to express with one short breath, but during that moment you can not stop yourself it is a blissful natural high even if it brings tears to your eyes. I think that people are the most happy when they can say everything they wanted to say so they are not walking away from a conversation unsatisfied and questioning everything that was said. Because once the moment is over you will never get the chance to go back to that exact moment and do it over again

The Beginning of a Great Debate

This morning I became quite livid with one of the laws that were made to do during the presentation of the twelve tables. I am not sure who created, but the laws was "homosexuals and pregnant women are to be expelled from school," yet people in gangs are only suspended. Because i would rather go to a school with someone that might shoot me simply because I am wearing the wrong color instead of someone who has a different sexual preference than me. I know that I am not supposed to "attack"  the person you do not agree with, but how can you create something that ignorant when everything is beginning to change for the better. Everyone should be treated equally and believing in the opposite is the epitome of a provincial process of thought.
